Format:DVD
This, along with Changeling, was my film of 2008. Good music, action, acting, editing, effects - it has it all. Ok, so it deviates a bit from the original comic book, but that's Hollywood's artistic license for you, but most of the dialogue is word for word.
James McAvoys American accent is slightly ropey, but he's brilliantly cast in this film, even if he's not your usual action hero. Angelina, as ever, is perfect in every way (apart from the fact that she won't be in a sequel, I have thought of a way round that though).
Highly recommended.

Great film etc., that's obviously why I bought it. Unfortunately don't expect to get the included digital copy to download if you are in the UK, because it's to be done via itunes and you need to be in the USA or Canada. I've tried another unlock code sent to me by Universal, but that has the same rejection message; "This code is only valid for customers of the US or Canada store".

Agents in a secret society of assassins are being systematically dispatched. They require someone of greater talent to squelch the culprit before they are all dispatched. Their potential recruit is Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy). The head of the society Sloan (Morgan Freeman) sends Fox (Angelina Jolie), appropriately named, as the recruiter and trainer of the newly selected assassin. She has her work cut out for her. Will Wesley ever shape up? And is there more to his missions and what they told him?
This film has lots of action which requires you to suspend the laws of physics. We also have Angela who does not distract from her character. And who can dispute that Morgan Freeman is not one of the best good guy/ bad guys?
I do not like to have the media get in the way of reviews however I have only seen this on Blu-Ray and cannot compare it to other media.

This film has lots of action which requires you to suspend the laws of physics. We also have Angela who does not distract from her character. And who can dispute that Morgan Freeman is not one of the best good guy/ bad guys?
