5.0 out of 5 stars When You Wish Upon a Star 26 Sep 2004
By shaz17 TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Daniel Murphy has never gotten stargazing out of his system. Even as he and his young son hide out in Button Creek, Texas, the ex-astronomy professor still finds excitement in the stars. When a stunning new waitress from out of town -- way out of town -- starts working at the local diner, Daniel finds watching her even more exciting. Every red-blooded male around, in fact, has eyes for this bewitching stranger. Zara is a little bit more unusual than most women, and is oddly unfamiliar with cars, washing machines, and many other everyday appliances. But what the good-looking single dad doesn't realize is that passionate chemistry between them could take them both a lot farther than he ever imagined. Because Zara's come a long, long way looking for one perfect man...

5.0 out of 5 stars One Perfect book 25 July 2007
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I thought this book was fab, I could not put it down because it was such a different concept which made it so much more interesting to read. I fell in love with the charactors and thought the book made me empathize with them throughout. Although this is a book about an alien you find yourself captued in the story as if it is real. Recommended read for a lovely out of this world love story.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great read, very cute 16 Mar 2004
By Jilly B - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I've NEVER written a review on Amazon before, but after reading this book I just had to. I cannot believe there are people who didn't enjoy this book. It's clever and innovative with a great premise. I've read Ms. McCoy's angel books and they were good, but this one is great.
Zara, an alien woman comes to earth looking for her perfect match and finds him in Daniel Murphy. Daniel had to kidnap his own son and is in hiding himself. When he meet's Zara he's a goner. This book has mystery, suspense, comedy and HOT HOT Sex scenes. It reminded me of that movie Starman. The idea in that movie was simple too. We never find out why the alien hero comes to earth, but he and the heroine fall in love and he is forced to go back but we never really know why. This book is so much better because they manage to stay together.

... Buy this book. you won't be sorry.

This is a definite read- when it was over, I was left feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Will keep going back for more from this talented author. Writing style is witty- and the words roll off the page with well versed rythem. A most enjoyable read and a sweet story. Kudos go to Judy McCoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! 30 May 2006
By Jessica Berry - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
In this charming tale of mistaken identity, cosmic romance, and laugh out loud depictions of small-town life, Judi McCoy delivers a fantastic read. The characters and setting are so vividly described that I feel as if I'd had a piece of cherry pie in Lucy's luncheonette. Wanted: One Perfect Man was difficult to put down (I love when that happens!) and I can't wait to dive into the next book of the series. Way to go, Judi!
