Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood accurately depicts famous Robin Hood characters, from Little John with his jubilant laugh to Maid Marian and her soft kindness. Historical locations such as Sherwood Forest and Nottingham Castle are recreated with a detailed realism that brings the legend to life. The environmental settings are also phenomenal, setting Robin and his friends against a visually stunning backdrop morning, noon and night.
A simple and highly intuitive interface makes it easy to jump into the game's 40 different missions, which are based on robbery and infiltration, castle attack or ambush. Icons show the characters' moods and detection cones determine the enemy's field of vision to keep gamers on their toes. This is the legendary story with an adventurous modern-day twist.

Ingenious,
This review is from: Robin Hood (Video Game)
This game provides stimuli for both strategic and fun-loving minds. It's a cross between Commandos and the Robin Hood films...it has all the characters you'd expect with talents that you wouldn't! It's fun, the graphics are fantastic, and the sounds are fun to boost. It definately kept me enthralled!

Did you like Desperados ... sure you will LOVE this one too,
This review is from: Robin Hood (Video Game)
Robin hood: the legend of sherwood is an an action adventure game that lets you take on the role of the legendary nobelman, Robin Hood or one of his Merry Men. Each member of your merry men has different ability from the other. Moreover, it is a facinating game that keeps you on the edge of your seat while trying to defeat your enemy in many ways. The graphics are spectacular So, live the legend in more than 30 missions and you will realise that you didn't waste your money at all!

Brilliant!,
This review is from: Robin Hood (Video Game)
I bought this game when I was on holiday in Cornwall with my grandparents with a laptop but nothing to do on it, and they could tell you I spent hours playing on the game. I thought it was fun, and I complained to my grandma everytime I failed a level. I have acctually completed it now though.Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Little John, Friar Tuck and Will Scarlett have all been kept to the legends description, and it is fun to work out a way past the guards without killing to many and in turn not getting killed yourself! It took me about a week to complete some of the levels! My granddad's were also very interested in the game because our family are from Nottinghamshire, my mum even works at Sherwood Forest, and I've grown up knowing the legend, this however did spoil the game a bit for me, because I know the legend I know that Robin didn't meet some of the characters in the legend as he did in the game, however it doesn't spoil the game too much, and I realise they cannot stay strictly to the legend. I'm 13 and I personally love this game, however my brother hated it, so really it's one of those games you have to try yourself. I definatly recoment it, but try it for yourself and make up your mind, just don't expect it to be the next Metal Gear Solid.
