Just wanted to write this, to let people know, Haegemonia is a very good game, but if you think The Solon Heritage is the story line single player addon, then your mistaken, I just bought it, waited 3 weeks for it to find its a muliplayer map addon pack, which it doesnt state anywhere. Even the manufacturers description above is incorrect.

Unless you are big into multi-player games then this is a waste of money. The original is extremely playable (if a little cheesy) but this doesn't expand on it at all. It just gives you a pre-set series of skirmish missions with no depth whatsoever. Save your money and buy X2 when it comes out

Well it all started a long time a go when I was looking for a space strategy to satisfy the gap untill I bought Homeworld 2 (Which I now know, also rules!). And thus, I managed to stumble across this amazing, understated title. The graphics are nothing short of outstanding (really good), and blow every other space strategy out of the... space? The tech tree is huge, and the innovative spy ships do actually make for a different tactic, unlike the old "Blow everything up", which can become a little monotonous (But which does very much exist in this, don't worry). Although with the cool new effects, I do think I could sit and watch the space battles again for some time; (Maybe years), also the sound effects support the graphics superbly, making it really feel like a movie.
The only problem I've got with this game (Hence 4 stars), is the scale. When one ship which is only half bigger than another, blows up about 6 by itself, annoys me. (It should be six times as big, OBVIOUSELY!) Anyway, thats only minor. This can run nicely on pretty settings with a relatively low end system, although there is some sort of killer space dust in the game that seemed to eat my computer - but my new one flies with it.
Overall if I were you, I'd definately say "Yes Please!" (The exclamation is optional).
