This is a beautifully illustrated and well-written account of the history of wallpaper.It has whetted my appetite to explore the issue further, which is something all good books should do.

A good overview of the history of wallpaper decoration, much of the text and illustrations can be found elsewhere on the internet, however, as a quick reference book it serves its purpose.

In comparison with other wallpaper books I have, this book's illustrations were the same as you would see in other books; however, they were not as detailed. There are better wallpaper books.
