I love Wallander ( the Swedish original ) , but I found this one was a bit odd, perhaps we miss the wonderful Linda.
The plots were still very good, but some of the new characters don't quite have the same magic , and way too much about the prosecutor and
her kids- gosh they are everywhere, in almost every case, it seems.

I thoroughly enjoyed these films. The stories and the acting are so convincing I feel that I am really watching police in action. I find Krister Henriksson superb as Wallander. I think that Henning Mankel must have seen his creation come to life when played by Henriksson and
I look forward at a later date to more of his portrayals of Wallander.

I enjoyed this. Even though the language is Swedish, the English Subtitles make it understandable. Like Krister Henriksson's portrayal of Wallander. I have already got collected films 1-7, 8-13, 21-26. I shall eventually get the whole set.

Good series and we're slowly buying the entire series.
It's in Swedish, so we have to follow the subtitles, which are easy enough to follow.

Wallander is a sort of Swedish version of Morse - without the dreaming spires though!

So far I have only viewed one of the films, but found it surprisingly easy to follow, even with sub-titles.
I have read most of the Wallander books and the DVDs (both BBC and Swedish) live up to the high standard of Mankell's writing.

I had to have all this collection. This is better than Midsomer Murders, or most other murder mysteries.
Krister is the best of the detectives from the land of the open outwards doors.
Perfect for a winters night...

Wallander is the best of Nordic Noir. I loved Henriksson's low-key, believable performance. Good story line, good accompanying background scenes. Scandinavian landscape and settings have a soothing, pleasant effect.

The middle term of Mankells great story line. The young cadets take some rare chances but Henriksson holds the plots superly!
