Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Fleeced, a 'Cracking' new Board Game! Wallace & Gromit are back in a new board game, devised by their creator Nick Park and produced by PopCo, a division of Corgi International in conjunction with Aardman Animations.

'Shear' fun and frustration Fleeced is the worlds first and only sheep rustling board game! Its simple yet engaging game play will provide hours of fun for all the family.

Sheep have gone missing and players work their way around the board which features West Wallaby Street and its environs to seek out the fugitive livestock. Then rustle them from their hideouts, or from other rustling rascals and herd them in long lines safely back home. It sounds easy, but beware...the more sheep you rustle the more other players will have their greedy eyes on your flock.

Can 'ewe' rise to the challenge and rustle up the largest flock?

Product Description

Now this may not be a matter of loaf and death, but it's still a jolly good bit of fun. And great for bonding sessions, for as we at gadgetshop HQ always say, make loaf - not war. But that's quite enough of that. Our bread related puns can only mean one thing - it's a Wallace and Gromit product. And not just any product - a board game, so now you can truly feel like you're one of the gang. Wallace and Gromit are the main characters in a series of British animated short films. All the characters were made from moulded plasticine modelling clay and filmed with stop motion clay animation. Wallace, an absent-minded inventor from Wigan, is a cheese enthusiast. His companion, Gromit, is a anthropomorphic intelligent dog. Wallace & Gromit's Fleeced!: Sheep Rustling Game is a board game where players work their way around the streets seeking out fugitive sheep. Rustling them from their hideouts or from other players and herd them in long lines safely back home. But beware! Sheep rustling's a 'gambol'! The more sheep you rustle - the more other rustling rascals will have their greedy eyes on your flock.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little sheep game 30 Mar 2010

Once you get pass the instruction leaflet, which is a long game in itself, then this is a really good game. We gave up on the instructions and got some friends of ours to take it home, work it out, and bring it back which was great. A good game after a few drinks, kids loved it and our friends bought their own because they loved it as well. We always bring it out now after a couple of bottles of wine, it gets loud with all the whistling and shouting going on but I'm glad we bought it now and didn't give up on it once we opened the box and looked at the instructions. Great little pieces as well, very well made.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fleeced the board game (Wallace and Gromit) 18 Feb 2012

I played Fleeced at my friend's house and absolutely fell in love with it! I really recomend it.
The characters you can choose are really cool, and I love the little sheep you play with!
This is a very clever game, and can easily be enjoyed by all ages. Little kids could be entertained by it, although it does have some more complicated parts to it.
There are no bad comments about this game, it is my favourite by a long way. I would give it 5 stars out of 5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best board game we bought lately 27 Jan 2012
By Niki
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
The game is brilliant and refreshing. The rules are simple and nicely written (I don't wish to comment on the IQ of the people who say the rules are too complicated and hard to follow). If you want badly written and hard to follow rules - look at the book of rules of Shear Panic - they're really awful and hard to get at first. We found playing Fleeced really enjoyable and fun. Everything is nice and just clicked right from the start. I guess you need the right kind of strategy thinking in order to "make the game work". Otherwise you better stick to Monopoly and such. The pieces are adorable (I find them much prettier and more appropriate than those of Shear Panic) but a few had messy painting, in fact our Gromit needs his black nose tip back. The box is very nicely made too. It's the funnest game we've bought in a while and I'm really happy we didn't listen to those few grumpy comments.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even better than monopoly 1 Jan 2013
We played this for the first time at New Years Eve and we haven't laughed so much in ages. The kids loved it when they played amongst themselves, but the sheep rustling went up to a new level when the adults played.

Beautifully made, presented and well thought through, once you get a hang of how to rustle your opponents' sheep, then it becomes strategy and a dastardly mind that makes it a great game. Highly recommended - like monopoly, don't expect to understand the rules in the first few minutes, and give it a chance to evolve into a great evening.
