Derek Smith is an Editor at Haynes Publishing and the author of the Wallace & Gromit Cracking Contraptions Manual. He also illustrated the Haynes Wallace & Gromit Cracking Contraptions Manual.

Being of an engineering bent I have always loved Wallace & Gromit from day one. Haynes is a name I trust and their car manuals have saved me thousands of pounds over the years.
This is my first dive into their alternative series of manuals and I'm not disappointed. Although clearly aimed at the younger reader any age group would enjoy this if they love W&G.
Packed with cut away drawings as well as colour pictures from all the shows its a great companion for the DVD's.

Any Wallace & Gromit fan will love this. It's a little thinner than I expected (but there are only so many contraptions to write about). Still very happy with it. Grand!
