I'm a huge Jessica Smith devotee. I started with her 10 minute solutions for butt and thighs and saw results in a matter of weeks. I then moved on to her 10 minutes solution kick boxing DVD and follow her on her youtube channel where she posts lots of free work outs from 10/15 minutes to 30/40 minutes.

Through the summer months I would go walking for an hour every day and when the weather closed in I really missed it so thought Jessica could help me out.

It's nice DVD with a mother daughter team with Jessica with the daughter vamping up the moves for a more intense walk and the mother showing you how to slow things down while Jessica keeps at a moderate pace. I thought it would just be walking but there are some jumps involved and jogging on the spot for little cardio bursts together with lots of arm movements to help raise your heart rate.

There's a warm up and a cool down as well as 2 different walks, one higher intensity than the other. both are about 30 minutes long and aren't difficult to get into at all. Jessica is smiling and encouraging throughout and chats about the different moves and muscles being used so you know just what your working out.

I use this DVD along with her two 10 minute solutions I mentioned above and sometimes her website/ youtube channel to mix things up a bit and make sure I don't get bored doing the same thing over and over again as then I won't want to get off my butt and do anything.

I love Jessica, she's a great instructor and very likeable. You have nothing to lose picking up this DVD, you don't need a lot of room to do the walk as it's basically on the spot, side to side and back to front, hardly any space needed really. And there's no weight lifting or running involved. no equipment needed at all. If you enjoy walking and miss it when the bad weather and dark nights set in then this is a good way to keep up with your walking.

Excellent easy to follow excercises. I wanted to keep fit/lose weight without star jumps and squats etc and this fits the bill. You also don't need a huge room to do all the excercises.

Love her! This is a great way to work out if you're a beginner, overweight and need to keep low impact or, like me on back rehab - no impact or twisting.
Jessica has a couple of workouts on the DVD and she makes me smile with her comments and moves.

I came across Jessica Smith by chance on You Tube and would highly recommend. Have tried other different workouts in the past but with Jessica I can actually see a difference in my body shape since following her exercise workouts. Jessica states that exercise is all about having fun and this is true with her walking exercise programmes. Its also refreshing to see 'real' people working out with her on her DVDs. Follow her on JessicaSmithTV.com where she has a whole range of different exercise programmes to choose from, all that can done in a small space in the comfort of your own home (where I prefer to do my workouts).

3 months after open heart surgery I was looking for something that would help with my rehabilitation. This dvd is perfect; you can choose a level that is suitable for you, higher or lower intensity and how long you would like to walk for. When I initally saw this dvd I'd not really heard of 'walking' dvds. I was worried about how challenging or engaging it would be.There is a specialised Walking for your Heart dvd but as it was made in 2005 I was worried it may be dull and outdated. Jessica is motivating, energetic and the dvd is shot in a pleasant location. It is simple but effective. Wherther you are looking to gradually build your fitness level or maintain or improve you current fitness level there is enough content for any age or ability. As it is recommended that you walk 10,000 steps a day I also brought a stepper counter to help manage my progress. The great news is that half an hour workout on this dvd, works out at approx 5,000 steps, which instantly makes 10,000 seem easily achievable! Looking at it like that it somehow makes it so much easier to structure it into your day.

I love this DVD workout. It fully deserves the 5 star rating! The instructor has come up with a neat walking workout that is both low impact and effective. I have been suffering with a chronic physical illness for 5 years and was desperate to find a workout that I could do to start building up my fitness levels and lose weight. The workout is simple, no fancy footwork or acrobatics. There are different levels provided during the workout so you can go a little more intense when you feel like it or when your fitness improves. The instructor is very likeable and explains the workouts very well. Plus she is encouraging and enthusiastic about her workout, which is great for someone like me who feels a lot of pain whilst exercising. The setting of the DVD is simple and not distracting at all. Even the music is good and not annoying. I would recommend this workout to anyone starting out with their fitness after long periods of time away from exercise or individuals who are total beginners.
