About the Author
Writing pseudonymously, George Spelvin and Eve Devereux are a husband-and-wife team. George - the author of over 50 works of fiction and non-fiction, and recipient of various international awards including the Hugo and the World Fantasy Award - moved to Manhattan on marrying Eve, an internationally renowned appraiser and archivist. It was as they explored the city together, Eve as the expert guide who had lived there for over 20 years and George bringing fresh eyes to it, that they wrote this book.
