4.0 out of 5 stars Its a book of short walks 19 Oct 2011
By Chally
Format:Paperback
I think the previous reviewer is being unfair. Whilst the book title is a bit misleading, the description does say it's a collection of short walks.
I've now done lots of these and they are great walks all taking in parts of the South West Coast Path. Each walk is illustrated with an aerial photo, which whilst not as easy to follow as an OS map, really shows beforehand what the walk is going to be like. The information accompanying the walks is also really interesting.
So if you are looking for ideas for a short day's walk, and learn more about this spectacular part of our coastline this is a really good book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed 7 Nov 2010
By Amps
Format:Paperback
This is not a guide for serious walkers. Average walk length less than two hours, no maps, no information on accommodation or fueling stops. I bought this in the hope that it would assist in a point to point walk along the Jurassic Coast. It will not help.
