what a fabulous book, well written and great story, but for me it was true reminiscence. I have lived all my life in Birmingham and know all the places and addresses mentioned, having married at the Abbey, worked in Gardeners Milk Bar, gone to the Palace Cinema, all in the 1960s and relived through the pages of this book. Brilliant!!!!!
