My daughter has loved this book since she was about 14 months old, she's now nearly 23 months. Unfortunately, when we were on vacation she threw up all over it and so we have to replace it. The stories make her laugh. She even makes me read some of them so often she can actually join in. Contrary Mary and Cuddley Dudley are her favourites. The pages are well looked at and she always insists on a story from this book at bedtime. What a wonderful book. The stories are short and simple and the pictures are quite lovely. It was a present the first time and it made a fabulous gift. Enjoy!

I thought this was a super compilation of stories for different ages, both boys and girls. There's a story for just about every mood and my children, ages 4 and 8, can't get enough of this book. Very worthwhile having at home.
