Format:Audio CD
This is definitely the best album from Billie. Let's rate the tracks:
1. Day & Night - Billie's 5th single, reached #1. A brilliant dance song, you've gotta love it! So this is where Britney Spears got her sound from ... 5/5
2. Something Deep Inside - Billie's 6th single, reached #4. Despite the lyrics sounding rude, it's a great song which will stay in your head. 4/5
3. Walk of Life - Billie's final single, reached #24. A brilliant song, deserves way more than #24! 4.5/5
4. Safe With Me - A sweet, slow song which is catchy at the same time. 3/5
5. Bring It On - Trust me, don't listen to this song too much. Not Billie's best. 1/5
6. Ring My Bell - An amazing song, shows Billie's pure maturity. 5/5
7. The Tide Is High - A lovely cover of Blondie's hit, much better than Atomic Kitten's version. 4/5
8. Run That By Me - Trust me, this song will be getting you singing it for days. Brilliant. 5/5
9. Promises - A sweet, ballet-dancing song. Not bad. 3.5/5
10. Because of You - An AMAZING Billie song, should have been a single! 5/5

This album contains the rockin uptempo number one smash "Day and night" and the r n b influenced "something deep inside", which was also a high charter at number 4! -unfortunatly the "portraid as hippiesh" walk of life eneterd at an undeserving number 24! The album overall is a fantastic album and her vocals have came down the line alot since her first effort "Honey to the bee", this album has most kinds of songs you need although there is only one song that almost resembles a ballad, but thats alright cos ballads can sometimes be a waist of space!Theres a heavy willa ford influence On the pop track"ring my bell"and a great r n b influenc on"Bring it on" theres very mellow rock tracks like "what game is this",and "run that by me" and of course theres the sweet pop album fillers like " promises", one of the best songs, besides the ones released and perhaps every track on the album,is "The tide is high" It sounds strangely familiar, I think it samples an old song! the one downer is the track " Because of you" -There is one simple way this track could be fixed...speed it up!..It sounds like a disco song in slow motion, and I dont think that was the desired affect that producers wanted!
All in all, the best teen pop effort Ive got on my shelf, Ill buy other c.ds, but I always come back to this one!, Its ashame it didnt do better in the charts!...it should of done!...she should release more songs off this album -theres loads of songs that could be hits!

Billies first album was great, but this ones something else. Yes it's pop but with Billies new unique sound, every album has it's low points but I can find none here, every track is arranged brilliantly, from a two meaningful slowies, to uptempo guitar of the title track, to hip swinging energy of Because of you. If you hated Day and night be suprised beacause the rest of the album is a much more deeper rhymic, R'n'B dance with you can still groove to. Despite other opinions there is now Britney spears wannabe here. I just wish people would take more notice of this album it may have got in to the top twenty but hasn't got anywhere near the recognistion it deserves. Sadly this stalker buisseness has taken Billie away from her promotion, so lets hope Walk of lifes no.25 hit, isn't a sign of things to come. She's a brilliant artist and this album has a lot to show, the different producers have given it a mixed, a fresh,dancey sound. If you hated her before at least give her a second chance you'll be astonished!!
