As a Jane Austen lover, I looked forward to this book and found it an enjoyable read. I was a little surprised by the religious overtones of the book, that were acknowledged by the author but at times threatened to overpower the subject. However, this is one woman's journey and for her it was spiritual so I talked myself into persevering with it.

Lori Smith has a lovely voice and tells a delightful tale and I enjoyed the journey with her. The ending is a little anti-climatic, but it's a satisfying read and one any Jane Austen fan should enjoy.
