I have this book in paperback as well, but I can't seem to find my copy, but when I found out about the great deal on the price for the e-book I couldn't pass it up!! I love this book. I wish I knew these two ladies in real life. I could just imagine the fun they must have when they get together. What I wouldn't give to be the homeland security officer that gets to listen to their tapped phone conversation. Definitely order it or buy the e-book. Worth the read especially if you like to laugh.

I laughed so hard while reading this book, I nearly wet myself! Where do I start? With the arrival at the airport of Kat and pal? Or the hysterical goings on during Jeni's flight to meet Kat? Perhaps with the "geriatric weasel Murdock?"

There aren't many novels on the market today which are downright funny, outrageous and politically un-correct (I swear that's a word) but this is one! Kat and Jeni together are a rip-roaring writing duo whose novels need to be read. I am Australian, but having been inundated for many years by American TV sitcoms, could easily understand most of the references to jelly-livered politicians and some wash-board abbed sportsmen.

A fantastic road trip and next time I can only hope they will come to Australia to do one so I can ride behind them, poke fun and hold the camera so that Jeni's hands are free to cause even more mayhem LOL

Crikey, I will even promise to bail them out of gaol :)

I loved this book. Whenever I am asked if I have a favorite book I say no because there are so many I love. Now I have a book I can call a favorite. Reading Waiting for Karl Rove you will feel right there with Kat and Jeni. This book will make you call up your best friend and rope her into a road trip, (even if she did set your hair on fire - she apologized). You will laugh so hard you may tinkle, (if you are prone to this, wear Depends or put one of those puppy training mats under you). Carve out a block of time, and order food because once you start the trip you will not want to stop. This book will be the most fun you have had on the road, (with the bonus of not getting lost, sleeping in the Bates Motel, eating bad food or getting tasered and being hauled off to the pokey).
