Product Description

What the hell does Matt want? Dumping it all at the height of the financial crisis, Matt heads to the Caribbean to live out fantasies gained from reading too many Ian Fleming novels in his impressionable teens. But his adult vacation becomes a bit too real when murder strikes close to home, putting a hold on the satiation -- for a few hours, at least. Follow Matt as he journeys from uptight Boston Brownstones to languid Jamaica to the slippery Bullet Trains of Japan, searching for ... something. And when he finds it we'll be the first to let you know. Until then, enjoy an uncompromising (but surprisingly tender) story of Sex! Violence! Booze! Cuisine! AV stars! This story has it all! You won't be able to put this book down until you're completely spent, wanting more. (This is a story for mature adults. That means YOU Johnny. Put down the mouse and back away.)

5.0 out of 5 stars I want more 29 April 2013

Brilliant, absoutly brilliant. I think I read it in one sitting, unable to put it down. This book has everything, action, romance, travel. It is a non-stop adventure. Although fanciful it was pure escapeism where vicariously you could imagine yourself there. I want more as the book ended with the promise of it, particularly as it seemed the story just stopped, not finished but stopped.
4.0 out of 5 stars What did I just read? 29 Jun 2012

Short story that feels like a hung-over tale of a weeklong sex, alcohol, and food tour de force. It's weird, the plot wonders all over the place and you never really get a chance to get attached to any one character, yet the tales amount to a quick and entertaining read if somewhat random. This may be by design as this is the first part in a series and may only be meant to introduce the characters. The bulk of the story occurs in Japan, and it's evident the author loves that place, going to great lengths to describe the city, people, and food. Clearly this man must have only written when he was either hungry or horny, nothing wrong with that. Worth picking up.
