Bought these scissors together with the Wahl trimmer, about May 2009.
My daughter has 2-Yorkshire terriers, and was costing her £50+ to have them groomed. Found them great for face trimming and around their paws. They were also fine for general tidying up after being trimmed.Have used them countless times over the past 9-months and they still do a great job. However, remember, these are 'Toy' breeds, and Yorkies only have one coat, (most breeds have two)So have no idea how they would perform on medium to large breeds.

We have a shih tzu dog. which means constantly growing hair. we had purchased a small pair of scissors, but found that the movement of the scissors made suzy(shih tzu) twitch. However the wahl smartgroom pet scissors are nice and long and curved. when used to trim around her face she is much calmer. Glad i bought them.

Very disappointed with quality. Mechanism felt grindy and blades were rough. They were cheap and I should have remembered you get what you pay for!

Excellent
This product is very safe and easy to use and beats normal scissors hands down.
Especially good for removing knots between my dogs feet pads.

Grooming Scissors
Excellent product just wish they would hold my dog still while I use them aswell!!They arrived on time too.

Grooming Scissors
Received these scissors very quickly but dissapointed as they were not very sharp. Once sharpened they were easly to use quite safe for clipping round the face area.

hmmmmmm
these don't cut all the way to the end although they are quite sharp. I thought they would be a lot better from an established company like Wahl.
