I have bought about 3 of these clippers (not from Amazon) within the space of 5 years, which isn't good going in my view. What usually happens to them, is that the power cable splits where it is connected to the clipper. So one day when you're using it, it will start to stutter - and you may even see sparks! The cable wears out far too easily, and I think that really, these clippers should last longer than 1 year or 18 months. Although it was powerful when it worked, this flaw lets it down badly.
