Quite pleased with this kettle, having spent far far more on its predecessors I wanted something that didnt look something out of an Argos catalogue, and didnt want to risk a fortune on something that is no more reliable the Argos option. Hey I think I have found it! Good price, unusual design by someone I didnt realise made anything else but hair clippers. Only observations I would make is that locating the kettle on the base isnt as easy as it should be. Slightly noisy, but where do you get a quiet kettle? Not the fastest, but hey whats the rush? The only bad point, I think it should auto switch off after taking it off the base, you could quite easily put it back empty and boil it dry.
So far this is good kettle, pleased with my purchase.

On looking for a new kettle I had 2 main criteria:
1. Mine - 3kw fast boiling kettle with concealed element.
2. Wifes - nice looking, must match the black granite surface and steel appliances.
This seemed to fit the bill, it looks good and heats the water quickly.
However, one basic design flaw, the designers seem to have forgotten that we might want to move the water into a cup. It seems impossible to pour the water without it spilling all over the work surface, one unhappy wife later and I'm looking for alternatives - kettle not wife!

This is simply the best kettle we have ever had. It looks fabulous, boils quickly and pours well. Some kettles have very poor pouring characteristics, this does not.
Worth every penny. Can be recommended 100%.
Should I ever need another kettle, I would buy another one of these.

Lightweight
