First let me say that this trimmer isn't just for those with beards or moustaches. I personally prefer the stubble look and this trimmer does a great job of maintaining it. The trimmer comes with a 6-position attachment guide which clips onto the blade and by sliding the attachment forward or backward lets you set the correct length for your trim. It ranges from position 1, 'stubble length' (2 mm) to position 6, 'long' (12 mm). As I like to keep my facial hair short I've never needed to use this beyond position 1 and it works great. For those looking for that stubble effect, set the attachment to position 1 and shave as you would with a normal razor. Gives you that 2-3 day stubble look. Those looking to style and shape your beard or moustache the trimmer does come with instructions explaining how to do so. Since purchasing this trimmer I haven't needed to use my razor, which is great because let's face it, shaving can be a hassle - shave clean, wait for the stubble to grow, shave again and then find you've nicked yourself and need to buy yet more razor blades. With this trimmer you can keep a stubble or bearded look all the time, and with the plastic attachment guard on the end of the blade it's damn-near impossible to cut yourself.
The trimmer runs cordless and comes with a charger, so when the battery starts to die just plug in the charger. You can also use the trimmer anytime when it's plugged into the charger if you need to use it when the battery is low. Noise wise it's hardly deafening, about as loud as you'd expect a trimmer/shaver to be. The trimmer also comes with 3 moustache combs, a beard comb, cleaning oil and a stand. As mentioned earlier I haven't needed to use the moustache combs so can't vouch for their effectiveness.
Construction wise, don't expect a diamond series Remington here. The trimmer itself and the attachments are all made of rather cheap plastic and the attachments in particular seem a bit flimsy, if you accidentally step on them they'd probably break. It's also a little annoying that the trimmer doesn't come with a pouch or anything to store the attachments and combs, I personally just keep them in the stand (also made of plastic). But at little over £10 what more can you expect really, it's hardly breaking the bank and it gets the job done.
Definitely worth the dosh - it's not built of the same quality as a Remington, but at a tenth of the price you can hardly complain. Great little product, highly recommended.
