Fake reviews 30 July 2008
This item has a lot of fake reviews. S J Raven, John hilton "John", Ken Lawrence and Beauty 10008 all reviewed only items from electro world and gave them 5 stars. Is it coincidence? Or set up by electroworld to push their products? Amazon, please do something about this fakes!

I have to say that this is a pretty good item for the price! As far as other purchasers are concerned, perhaps they just dont have the 'knack'! Turning out good waffles is all in the preparation and quantities! My suggestions are:- 1) after initial cleaning, oil both surfaces with a pastry brush or cooking oil spray; 2) heat to maximum temperature; 3)use at least 3 tablespoons of waffle mixture.
My only criticisms are the lack of at least one recipe for guidance, and the fact that it does not cook to a 'golden' colour, however, waffles are cooked through. What more can one say!!

Don't buy this on the back of the somewhat dubious 5* reviews, which were the only ones when I got it. The instructions that come with it are nonsensical, but the controls are basic so I thought I'd give it a go anyway. It's still rubbish.

not worth the money
I am not so happy with this product. It does burn the outside of the waffles, and they stick nd are difficult to get out of the iron.

Loved it so much have also brought one for my Mum
As the title reads, this must be the cheapest and best gadget i've got in my kitchen, because my mum loved it so much I got her one for her birthday.

The included manual is misleading.
When I got the package and took a look at the waffle iron I was initially disappointed. Reading the manual of this 'glorified sandwhich maker' made things worse. Read more
