Great for a month 19 Oct 2011
This is a great product with a major flaw. The design is very comfy to use and has produced excellent results with SketchBook Pro, iThoughtsHD, Noterize, Notesplus and other similar programs - art wise it really moves the ipad up a notch in terms of sketching, layout preparation and accuracy. However - after 2 weeks a small tear had opened on the rubber tip, after another 2 weeks this tear was so substantial that I had to cease using the pen while awaiting Wacom shop to deliver replacement tips (20 pounds, up to 10 days delivery for 6 tips) which frankly is an extortionate rate and will send me looking for alternatives should the replacements tear after a similar short duration.

So frankly a lovely pen that has transformative effects on your ipad but one that carries not only a heavy investment cost but seemingly a steep up-keep cost.

I waited and waited for this stylus because I have always loved Wacom; but, this was a terrible buy. I was a bit skeptical at the price - given it's nearly twice the price of every other stylus - but I figured: it's Wacom so it must be worth it. Boy, was that a mistake. When you first grasp it, it feels heavy. Not bad, heavy, but noticeable in weight. The weight wasn't the main issue. What was, was that it fell apart in one day - no joke. The top cap came off, the clip fell off - neither of which I could fix back on. The sleeve cap near the tip fell off as well. It felt good, but was poorly made. On top of all that, I contacted Wacom to let them know what happened and that I wanted a refund, to which the associate told me what I told them was not possible (essentially calling me a liar). When I repeated that it did happen and I had pictures, they still claimed it was somehow my fault and that there was no way they would offer a refund, but, I could ship it back to them and they "might" replace it - but I would have to pay for shipping both ways. Unbelievable piece of garbage that I will never buy again. It is still sitting in a drawer, in its box, doing nothing. Thanks Wacom for a terrible product and experience!

If you use it regularly for drawing, don't expect to get more than two to three hours out of the tip before it disintegrates. Wacom offered me a free nib as a replacement to be ordered through their eStore. That was even more infuriatings as replacement tips are no longer available in Europe on the Wacom eStore, so I had to buy another stylus instead (not a Wacom obviously...). The Bamboo stylus worked beautifully during the two hours, but at a rate of 15 an hour, it is worth considering the alternatives.
Basically: don't go near it!

Great tool
The stylus is great for those of us who are more used to holding a pen than using fingers to write and draw. Read more

Better than my finger but didn't improve my artistry
Bought this based on some reviews to use on my iPad because I have 'dead finger syndrome'' (which my boyfriend has kindly nicknamed it). Read more

Best thing since sliced bread (well almost)
This worked a lot better than other cheaper styluses which I've bought before this one. Works well with iPad 2 and with the new iPad at least.

Good pen, but expensive.
This is an excellent pen, works really well on my new generation iPad (iPad 3). I use it a lot for sketching, as that would probably be the only thing you need it for anyway. Read more

Best stylus
This is by far the best stylus I've tried, just the right size and it feels great when using it, both for drawing but also for easier typing on the iPad/iPhone :)

Quality stylus
A bit pricier than other iPad styluses, but it does have a really nice weight and feel. It actually feels like a quality pen rather than a cheap biro. Read more
