Two PPVs for the price of one?, 8 Dec 2000
By A Customer
This is a great video. That's all that needs saying isn't it? Well, firstly, you get Summerslam 2000. This has been widely regarded as the finest Summerslam ever, and perhaps the greatesr show the WWF have ever pulled off. Featuring the very strong HHH/Rock/Angle main event, a superb Benoit/Jericho match, and the awesome TLC...Oh my! Match, this PPV have very few faults. Every match is worked very well, but the downside is, you're left wanting more!Well that's where Manchester Mayhem comes in. This is one of the very rare good British PPVs. Last year, the WWF were in Manchester, and this PPV is equally as strong as Summerlsam. Featuring sn excellent main event, and a good undercard, this is a vital addition to any WWF fans video collection. Overall, this video is a must buy, and at £15 it's a bargin!

BEST EVA PPV!!!, 26 Jan 2005
Summerslam 2000 is the best ppv ever and there is only one bad match on the card. You see a crazy shane O' mac stunt. The first and best TLC match and the best wrestler Kurt angle getting a concusion. Here are the matches: 1. Too Cool and Rikishi vs Right to Censor 6/10. This is Ok and a good way o start the ppv.JR keeps calling goodfather godfather.Watch out for:Stevie trying to look good. 2. X-Pac v Road Dogg 6/10.Good match with a shocking after match.Watch out for: X-pacs low blow. 3.Intergender tag-match for Intercontinental title Val Venis & Trish vs Eddie G and Chyna 8/10.chyna wins the title! Watch out for he gorila press slam from chyna. 4.Jerry(the king)lawler vs Tazz 3/10. Awful until JR gets involved. watch out for: JR smashin a glass bottle over tazz's head!!! It is nasty and theres blood!!! 5.Hardcore Title match Shane vs Steve Blackman 10/10. Fantastic! They use kendo sticks, trash cans(over shanes head!),TrashCan lids(what a shot from blacman),sighns, sticks, Strap,Speaker. At the end shan falls backwards 60+ feet through speakers. Then steve jumps 20+ feet onto shane!!!Watch out for: everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6. 2 out a 3 falls Y2J vs Chris beniot 7/10.OK technical match.Funny and brutal preview.Watch out for:Benoit cheating. 7.TLC 1 Hardy boys vs dudleyz vs edge and christian 11/10.Oh my!!! This is incredible. There are three MAJOR bumps and lots more minor ones.Bubba goes through 4 tables of a 20 feet ladder. Jeff swantons himself through 2 tables. Matt gets thrown of a 20 foot ladder through 2 tables(I thought his neck was brocken!!!).Watch out for: Matts underrated table bump. 8.Thong stinky face match Terri vs Kat 4/10. Good to watch but pointless. watch out for.????? 9. Undertaker vs Kane 8/10. Kanes mask is taken off!!! Plus steps and chairs! 10.The rock vs HHH vs Kurt Angle 10/10. The Best WWE PPV Of 2000 (Bar Mania), 22 May 2009
Summerslam kicks off with a six man tag team match pitting right to censor against too cool in a very entertaining curtain jerker with the Godfather's former Ho's at ringside throughout for some extra interest. A well planned match with as usual some comedy from too cool although perhaps not quite long enough. Road Dogg V X-pac is a good match but again maybe too short at less than 5 minutes in what is a very entertaining match. I have to however point out that in the flashback to raw where Road Dogg is headbutted by X-pac and falls through a table it is the worst reaction to a headbutt ever seen. Trust me.........watch it. Moving on.........Chyna and Eddie V Venis and Stratus is another good match and shows the promise Trish held as a wrestler even in her earlier days. And this is an example of when WWE had some balls. WOMEN EQUAL TO MEN!!!!!!!! WHAT?!?!?!?!?! A very good match and Eddie is good as always as well as Val putting in another solid performance. Jerry Lawler V Tazz is a good match with some very good action considering the fact Tazz and King were both on the tail end of their wrestling careers by this point. The swerve at the end is brilliant and seeing J.R getting involved in the action is always good. That man is a god. Has to be said. Anyway Shane defended against Blackman for the hardcore title with plenty of weapons, highflying action and interference. And of course Shane takes the first of his many insanely high falls onto a big fluffy coushion for the finish. Benoit V Jericho is arguably the best match on the card pitting two wrestling greats against one each other for 13 minutes of action. Nearly topped the main event in my opinion (Although the TLC match was the real star of the show) Talking of which this is the real star of the card. The greatest thing about wrestling, young, athletic guys putting it all on the line to create one of the greatest matches ever. Not surprising that 2/3 of the competitors have become World champs and the Dudley's still dominate the tag team division. A great match to start the chain of similar matches in which these teams excelled. The Kat V Terri match isn't really worth mentioning. More shameless use of women in wrestling to please middle aged men. Moving on........Undertaker V Kane never officially started but still is an entertaining brawl with Undertaker left holding Kanes mask aloft. Then the triple threat main event. Angle is taken out early when an announce table collapses (presumably the Spanish one - You notice its always theirs that goes first? Hmmm...........) and Angle cracks his head off it. He's carted out and Rock and HHH are left to pretty much wing it. Angle is eventually led back out by Steph and joins in for the last three minutes. Very good wrestling and an exciting end. Good match.
Overall a brilliant PPV. Not one bad match in the bunch (No a "Thong Stinkface match does not count as a match) and an excellent PPV
