5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the Best IN YOUR HOUSE EVENT ever!!!!!! 22 May 2004
This event was absolutely superb considering it only had 4 matches and went on for 2 hours. This event was set in Calgary,Alberta,Canada.
Here are the matches, i'll rate them out of 5.
1.Hunter-Hearst-Helmsley(w/Chyna)vs Mankind-This match was a great opener to the show. All sorts of things happened in this match with distractions from Chyna and eventually both men ended up being counted out and they ended up fighting through the crowd and the arena all night. It was hilarious. 4.5/5
2.Great Sasuke vs Taka Michinoku-This was Taka's debut match in the WWF. This match contains high flyin' action from both competitors. I would have to say that this was the worst match of the night because all the other matches were superb but this match was still a great match. 4/5
3. UNDERTAKER vs VADER (w/Paul Bearer) for the WWF CHAMPIONSHIP- This match was originally meant to be TAKER v AHMED JOHNSON but Ahmed was injured so Vader stepped in. It was a good thing he did step in because he was a great replacement. This match was not Taker's best but it was a good match. Both men dominated each other at one point and the ending to this match is great. 4.5/5
4. Stone cold, Shamrock, LOD or (OLD) as i call them and Goldust vs THE HART FOUNDATION-(Bret Hart,Owen Hart,Brian Pillman,British Bulldog and Jim "anvil" Neidhart)- Well, this match was absolutely superb. The atmosphere in the settledome was off the roof. It was the hometown heroes vs the American villains. However if this was set in the USA the americans would be the heroes. The crowd really got on STONE COLD's back and at one point in the match it was 4 on 4 because Owen and Stone Cold both had to go to the back for medical attention. When BRET HART entered the ring the crowd went wild.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Best Pay-Per-View Of 1997 20 April 2000
By A Customer
The WWF's Candian Stampede brings the hated Hart Foundation to the place were they are worshipped like gods; the Hart Family's home town of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This tape is excellent. The only dissaponting match is the Free For All contest between the Godwinns and the New Blackjacks. For new fans, this is a chance to see Midian and Bradshaw in past gimmicks. However, the rest of the tape is EXCELLENT! See Triple H and Chyna before DX was even imagined, as Hunter battles Mankind in a solid brawl across the arena. This was a great feud, but did either man release it would one day be main-event material? Then there's an awesome Lightheavyweight match pitting Japanese legend The Great Sasuke against Kaientai's Taka Michinoku. Wow, their ariel artistry is MIND BLOWING! And there's and incredible 10 Man Tag Team main event, pitting home town hereos the Hart Foundation against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldust, Ken Shamrock and The Legion Of Doom. Another great contest, but it's sad to see the Hart's; just under three years ago, Bret was still on good terms with Vince McMahon, the British Bulldog had no personal problems and was a great main eventer, Jim Neidhart was not on the 'Whatever Happened To ... ?' list, and the late Brian Pillman and Owen Hart were still with us. It's quite sad to see the entire Hart Family - cousins, nephews, uncles, and even Stu and Martha - celebrate in the ring.

5.0 out of 5 stars WWF In Your House 16 - Canadian Stampede 21 Oct 2003
This In your House edition is a classic as it includes a 10-man tag melee between The Hart Foundation and a team of American combatants. Stone Cold Steve Austin led the team of Goldust, Ken Shamrock and The Legion Of Doom. If you are a Bret Hart fan this is a must have. The emotion envolved when the canadian fans verbally slaughter Steve Austin is breath-taking and will leave you with your mouth open. A classic bout between WWF Light-Heavy weights is included as well as a epic battle between Mankind and Hunter-Hearst Helmsley. I recommend this Video highly.

5.0 out of 5 stars WWF'S best PPV of 1997 18 July 2003
This event is live from Calgary Alberta Canada. The matches are *10-man tag The Hart Foundation Vs Steve Austin, Goldust, L.O.D, Ken Shamrock * Mankind Vs Triple H * Undertaker Vs Vader * Great Sasuke Vs Taka Michinoku * Bonus match New Black Jacks Vs The Godwinns.
You might have second thoughts about buying this tape because it only has 5 matches. Don't worry. This tape is an absolute Gem. Three of the matches are excellent while the main event is awesome. If you like quality wrestling then this tape is for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars The art Foundation 21 Jan 2002
In the greatest match the Hart foundation ever took part in, Bret, Owen, Davey-Boy, Jim, and Brian Pillman take on the Americans. In a fierce contest which has everything, the Harts show why they deserve to be the best known wrestling family in the world. Great matches, great video. Only ruined slightly because of the thin undercard. However, even that contains a few decent moments. This is one of the videos that true Hart fans should not be without. Bret Hart's finest hour.
