4.0 out of 5 stars An underrated though predictable Wrestlemania 21 July 2013
Verified Purchase
Wrestlemania 29 is considered one of the most polarising Wrestlemanias to date due to what many fans felt to be a very predictable show. However despite the predictability of the show, I think this Wrestlemania deserves more credit than it gets, with a much stronger undercard than the previous Wrestlemania even though many superstars like Ryback, Mark Henry, Fandango and Dolph Ziggler have fallen from grace since.

While the main events aren't quite on the par of Wrestlemania 28, there are still better than some recent Wrestlemania, with a show stealing match between CM Punk and The Undertaker in what would turn out to be CM Punk's last Wrestlemania match to date (or at least for now).

So while not a top 5 Wrestlemania by any means, I think Wrestlemania deserves a little more credit than it gets.

2.0 out of 5 stars Stale and patronizing. 8 Jun 2013
WWE used to be great. It used to be a product you could switch on and escape in all the grandeur of the event. This rang true to Mondays all the way to Sundays, where PPV's would excite and amaze. Nothing used to beat WM (Wrestlemania) But I'm afraid the hay day of WWE has gone.

Some may say its because of lackluster talent. (I disagree seeing the talent is always good in WWE)

Some say its the writing (I also disagree, WWE has never been known for good writing)

Some says its the PG era (I partially agree, but not because of the lack of "Attitude", although some would be nice)

I say its because of the wrestling....That's right....WRESTLING. Not sports entertainment, not "Fighting", I'm talking about the stuff that goes on in the ring.

Now I remember when wrestling used to contain actual wrestling, but nowadays all it contains is head locks and poorly executed finishes that make the crowd look like idiots. WWE has become stale and boring. It used certain superstars from the past to sell and headline yet another sub par, under wrestled, over hyped snooze fest of a PPV. Now I watched it live and let me tell you, the 18 quid Sky Boxoffice charged was not worth it. Don't buy this DVD unless you support rubbish wrestling and garbage. the only actual wrestling match that took place was the Undertaker vs Punk match which was awesome, but not exactly a classic. In the old days, the match would of barely made the crowd flinch.

Change your damn ways already!
