It traces the events of the war at sea looking at the major battles as well as the effects of unrestricted submarine warfare and the sinking of the Lusitania and profiles key figures of the war.
About the Author
Victoria Carolan is a writer, photographer and maritime historian who formerly worked at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. She is also the author of the Pocket Essential on Nelson, has published various articles and fiction on nautical themes and regularly gives lectures on maritime subjects.
