This is such a lovely book. Probably best for 2-3 year olds, as the story is very simple, but a great introduction to colours with vivid illustrations. I read it to my daughter's nursery class and it was short enough to hold their attention, while being a real delight to look at.

What a wonderful story. I bought this book for a friend and now am buying another for my son as its such a simple lovely story. They are both only 1 but the bright colours and simple text appeals to them. I think it will also make for a great story sack so I'm putting an owl toy with it, some laminated colour squares and felt sun, cloud and rain shapes so we can play the story too.

If you want a Young Children's author that will give the reader some cracking art, a good story and above all else easy to remember verses then you really can't ignore Tim Hopgood. Add to this helpful exercises to allow your children's knowledge to grow and it's a book that will definitely entertain the reader. In this case to such an extent it was Wow said the reviewer. LOL
