For two years he was Deputy editor of Archives of diseases in Childhood, and he has edited, and contributed to,a number of textbooks and academic books.

I bought this book because I wanted to be aware of the stages he has to overcome within his development.

Its really nice to read, with lots of pictures and easy layout and reference. I wished it had a few more ideas and helpful hits to aid and progress your childs development (excercises etc).

I would buy this again, and follow it up with another book for complete learning.

I bought the Pregnancy Bible from this publisher and thought it the best book around on the subject. I have had my baby now and thought it worth a try to go to the same people for parental advice and am very pleased I did. This is very comprehensive, clear and easy to follow. I am less apprehensive than when I was when pregnant, but still want the best back up I can get. I am not reading this everyday as I did the previous book but so far it has answered all my questions and gives me confidence that I can do this wonderful job.

This is a good book for basic information on Child Development. It could be quite useful to first time parents. Plenty of information. As a study aid it is okay for a few references.
