The fully encapsulated TransTherm universal base is suitable for all hob types including induction.
WMF offers optional extras to the pressure cooker ranges like glass lids, imperforated and perforated inserts as well as trivets. All mechanical parts like valves and sealing rings are available separately and have a guaranteed availability of 10 years.

This pressure cooker looked ideal for a couple as the larger one we have is very heavy. Although smaller, it does not seem to be noticeably lighter, but the main draw back is the difficulty in opening and closing the lid.
The instructions on this are not very good and it leaves one to have to experiment with the opening and closing procedures. The fact that it comes without a trivet or separator is also a great draw back for it costs nearly the same amount of money to buy these separately.

This is a small and compact pressure cooker which is ideal for cooking all your vegetables together in about 3 minutes, once the pressure has built up (total approx. 8 to 10 minutes). The capacity is ideal for two servings and saves money on those expensive gas and electric bills. It is also excellent for cooking casseroles, including those tough meats like stewing steak.
