Having purchased cheaper peelers and tried to dishwash them I've always been disappointed as they invariably end up rusting in the dishwasher - but not this one!
The serrated edges of the peeling surface glide easily through even hard vegetables such as sweet potato and swede and the stainless steel manufacture leaves a brilliantly clean and rust free utensil even if it sits in the washer for hours overnight.
Forget cheap peelers and get this one.

There is simply no finer potato peeler (and been through a few), although it resembles something like a James Bond plastic surgeon's instrument (and is probably as lethal), it tirelessly skins potatoes and vegetables. Furthermore, it goes in the dishwasher without any effect on it's ability. This is the "Porsche" of potato peelers!
