I had one of the Bodum frothers (which is also great) and when my partner managed to break it into thousands of pieces had to look around for a stainless steel version for longevity's sake.
Most of the ones available are not suitable for induction, which really begs the question why would anyone buy them, as you will need to heat the milk in another utensil and then use the frother.
This frother by WMF is up to their usual standard of excellence, beautifully made and it feels very sturdy. All I have to do is fill it 1/3 with milk and put it on medium heat on my induction hob for 5 minutes. Then just put the plunger in and froth the milk to a creamy, thick foam consistency. It's brilliant and every coffee loving home should have one. It may seem pricey but it's good quality construction justifies the outlay. That said I got it for [...] from Amazon and it seems to have gone back to full price currently.
