5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely little book! 23 April 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Lovely little pictorial book by someone suffering from mercury poisoning. A graphical representation of the distress and misery he went through. The pictures are incredible and as a fellow suffer I totally appreciated and 'got' them all. Wish I had been able to go down a more artistic route in my life. You must keep on drawing Mr King, using your cool skills. You pic's paint my thoughts.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Very Short Story is an ABSOLUTE MUST READ due to the CRUCIAL Message! 10 May 2014

I have known about the DANGER of which the Author wrote; however, I have not experienced it myself. I took proper precautions years ago when I was lucky enough to hear details of the problems caused by the POISEN and made sure I did not have any of it.

Apparently, such was not the case with the Author and this story imparts a VERY IMPORTANT message and warning for all. It is a quick read with EXCELLENT drawings so there is no reason to not, at least, have a look. Oh, and don't forget to read the last page!

WHY AM I SO TIRED will introduce many readers to a CRUCIAL topic and deserves a 5 Star Rating.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it! 3 Aug 2013

I started having migraines at the age of 9, soon after I had my first carving fixed with amalgam. Nobody could find the cause of the migraines. It was only decades later, that I learnt the risks of this technique.
I read the book to my son (translating it to my language - we speak Portuguese) and he loved the story!
I'm so glad there's a book to teach it to children and parents!

I guess I was hoping for more than a picture book condemning the use of mercury based tooth fillings. Word.

I may have mercury poisoning too and found this an interesting, artistic way to share a horrible story. Kudos to King for putting this out there. Writing isn't great but it is a great concept and I appreciate it.
4.0 out of 5 stars An artist's take on mercury toxicity 16 Nov 2012

This book is an illustrated poem about mercury toxicity. The moody black and white artwork lends itself nicely to the Kindle, and the story is honest and powerful. Small, but worthy. I would recommend it if you are waiting somewhere for 10 to 15 minutes and you want something thought provoking to pass the time.
