VERY disappointed that the kettle is NOT 2.5 ltr but in reality is only a 1.5 ltr size. I feel strongly this seller should change his ad because I don't think it's legal for him to misrepresent what buyers should be expecting if they purchase his products. I can't believe he is getting away with it. In his defence, the seller did offer my money back once I would return the kettle but he did not offer the size kettle I thought I would be getting. If I had known this, I would have gone with another seller and purchased a 2.5 ltr kettle, which is what I trusted I would be getting. I feel he seriously needs to adjust this as it is against the law to keep sending out kettles that are clearly not what buyers get. I am disgusted, honestly.

For the price this is very good value, and has a number of plus features - good whistle, tilting handle, easy to remove lid. But it is NOT 2.5 litres. Filled to the bottom of the spout (which is all you can do if you want it to whistle) it is only 1.5 litres.

Prima has been very misleading in the description of this kettle. The advertising says 2.5L, the box says 2.5L 'approx' but the reality is it holds no more than 1.5L and even that amount doesn't boil properly. Don't buy this kettle unless you want a really small one that can only make 2 cups of tea!
