Genius 17 April 2012
By Lord Reesespieces - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
It's time to replace your last-century voodoo concepts of training (and over training)for golf... of spending $500 a year on a gym membership. Frankly, I am convinced that Kai Fusser has written THE authoritative golf fitness book. It is clear and concise. That won't stop others from exploiting this market, but this is the only book you will ever need on the subject. Put Fusser's book along side Hogan's "Five Lessons," Watson's "Getting It Up and Down from 40 Yards and In," Stockton's "Putt To Win," and Rotella's "Golf Is Not A Game of Perfect," and you'll have what are essentially the only golf books you'll ever need to own.

Good book for all fitness types! 21 Jun. 2012

I've been using workouts from this book for about a month now. I can really feel the difference! I'm more in tune with my core and mechanics. The workouts and illustrations are easy to follow. Fusser also covers other aspects of your life to help you achieve your goals. Kind of a "how to" of sorts. I'm looking forward to continued progress and success!

Even if you don't do the workouts, the tips are fantastic. 16 Sept. 2013

I bought this book to try and assembly a golf specific workout program. I'm horribly out of shape, but an avid golfer and currently a 7 hcp. I haven't actually started the workout programs outlined in the book, as I decided to wait until the offseason to begin, which is soon in the north east. The workout programs themselves seem very typical and well thought out. They reinforce some of the same things I've learned in other programs such as "The New Rules of Lifting". I have read through most of the chapters in the book and have already applied some of Kai's tips with great results. The section on taking care of your back in particular made a big difference in how I approach my shots. I instantly saw an increase in consistency. Check out this book, and then don't forget to engage your core!

IT's a good book but....... 21 April 2013
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Don't make the mistake I did. I already have his other book, weight training for womens golf. I bought this curious to see what his recommended differences are between the sexes, quite frankly, I'm pretty confident this is the same book. BUy one or the other and feel confident with using the program for either sex. They are really well thought out and concisely explained programs that have gotten good results for me and my clients.

Interesting 19 Sept. 2013

liked the workouts . did not like that I had to go searching for the exercises for each workout and they are hard to find in the book. Maybe if they had referenced the page numbers it would have helped.
