Fast and Reliable 21 Feb 2007

Very fast drive; there is definitely a noticeable difference in boot times and application loading. These drives are noisy though, however, this is only when the drive is seeking. When idle they are as quiet as any other drive, and the temperatures on these newer 16mb cache versions are lower than their older siblings. So if you're looking for the fastest sata drive available and you don't mind the increase noise they are definitely worth the investment.
