4.0 out of 5 stars Rugged backpack 4 Feb 2009
Colour Name:Black
Good packpack that I use 2 days every week. Had to be waterproof, rolled top and velcro strap rather than a zip seals the top. Cant fault it with perhaps one exception, no internal dividers with only one small zip pocket inside, this makes it more difficult to remove/replace some of the contents when travelling without disturbing the packing of items already in the bag. Construction is rugged yet smart/conservative enough to use for business travel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal wet activity grab-and-go bag 3 Jan 2011
By SilverP
Colour Name:Red
I bought this bag having used smaller bags by the same company and noting how good they were at keeping contents dry in an open water sports community. This 25ltr version is ideal for my purposes; keeping all contents dry and securely held on my back whilst transferring between vessels or to/from shore in all weathers. As has been commented upon by others, it's big enough to hold a substatial quantity of kit and it really does keep everything dry and dust free. Having been thrown into water whilst wearing it I can confirm it really is water-tight in practice, though you may not be so lucky if it was not fastened in accordance with the instructions provided. The external pockets are idea for holding small bottles or equipment, and the front web pouch has a good expansion capacity for holding items ready for easy access. Additional internal pocket(s) would be beneficial for segregating smaller items to ease their recovery, and it should be noted that the larger panels are constructed from a different material to the sides; in place of a tough smooth neoprene/plastic finish on the front and back, the sides have a more woven and thinner material feel. I have come to trust this bag, and as I cannot find anything better for the money or capability elsewhere, I have now bought one for my partner to use too.

4.0 out of 5 stars great bag for being in the wet 4 Jun 2009
Colour Name:Red
I bought this bag earlier this year and it is great for field work, mucking about anywhere near river or the sea. It's a nice day sack size but big enough for a week away. It really does keep everything dry and mud or sand free although I haven't immersed it deliberately. The only downside is the same as for all waterproof bags - you substitute easy access for protection - although it isn't much hassle unrolling the top. It would be even better if it had more than one small internal pocket - it's easy to end up scrabbling about in the depths of the bag whan you want something. I'm also not sure why this is featured under lap top bags - there is no protective sleeve (though you can easily add one, and in my experience such bags are often amazingly overpriced when the only difference to other similar backpacks is a foam sleeve)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product. 8 Mar 2011
Colour Name:Black
I bought this bag to use whilst riding my motorbike, the main reason being it is waterproof and is quite large. I find it adequate for what I use it for. There is plenty of space in it for my gym clothes and my work things (laptop, paperwork etc).

There is a small pocket inside, which is big enough for wallet, keys ipod etc. Ideally I'd like more smaller pockets inside, but this isn't really a problem for what I use the bag for.

4.0 out of 5 stars bag 17 Oct 2010
Colour Name:Red
A good quality product, well made from good materials. The backpack straps are solid and comfortable. It has some handy external pouches but these could be a little more substancial as they are netting so not so strong and can get caught easily when stuffing back in tight lockers. I like the added reflective tape (good for me as I ride a motorbike).

I have recently started cycling to work, and this bag has been it's worth in weight of gold. It is not only 100% waterproof which keeps my shirts nice and dry it is also very comfortable even when it is fully loaded up. Definatly worth every penny.

Keeps my 17"Laptop protected from water & dirt when cycling and on boats, though need a protective sleeve for laptop to protect against bumps. I use inner sleeve from my laptop case. Chest and waist straps great for cycling to distribute weight and save back. Plenty of extra room for A4 day a page diary and other important paperwork, plus lunch.Minor quibble, could do with at least 1 divider as inner pocket is too small to pack anything more than esential small items.
