R. A. Croft says:
What a difference in both products Disney have taken the Choice not only on DVD but also Blu-Ray to Short Change the U.K on the release of WALL-E both formats are coming out in the USA as 3 Disc Versions but also they are Digital Copy Enabled allowing you to transfer the Film onto a portable device such as Ipods etc., but its Not isolated to one of the Latest Disney Releases take Sleeping Beauty & Nightmare Before Christmas on DVD the USA is served a 2 Disc DVD where we get 1. Now as a Disney Devotee I think Disney ought to get there thought pattern into gear and think there is a Whole world out there beyond the United States that would Buy these Editions instead of feeling short changed because after all we end up paying more for the Region 2 Version of the Film when it is released on 1 or in the case of WALL-E 2 Disc DVD or 2 on Bluray than the Region 1 Version which is Cheaper more Extras and consists of 3 Disc DVD or 3 Bluray Discs its Unbelievable.

B. Bartlett says:
Until they do, I suggest you do the obvious and buy the region 1 disc. This whole region coding thing is a nonsense anyway and it is easily subverted with a region free player. Most players are region free ...just get online and hunt down the appropriate hack (usually just as simple as punching a code into the remote to unlock the service menu and then switching the region code to zero)

So what *are* the actual differences between the R1 & R2 versions?
