Nearly half of this book is made up of tables relating to the previous games, and much of the new information is repeated in several places. I would recommend getting this book when it on sale for less than �6 as it really isn't worth more than that.

excellent game in itself, but dont get it yet, its got so many gliches in it it will mess up your whole sims, as i learned unfortunately.

Like most people now, i would wait until the patch is available for it before you install it.

I dont really see the need for a guide for a game like sims. All you really need is the instruction booklet. Look online for some of the secrets and start playing. Maybe games that have levels would need a guide but even so you can look online. I've put not too good instead of rubbish because i havent actually bought any sims 2 guides. A new player with litlle experience (i know im patting myself on the back here) might need this guide to take their first wobbly steps into the world of sims. Just buy the game and see for yourself what its like and develop your own stratergys. That way the game will last longer and you can save some money! :)
