Format:Mass Market Paperback
LaVyrle Spencer does wonders with this book. She makes you feel like YOU ARE Emily Walcott. Then she makes you feel like every other character. This book makes you happy, it makes you sad, it makes you laugh and it makes you cry. Most of all it makes you love. I give it a 10 ten times!! I would definently recommend this book to anyone.

This is defintely one of those stories that make you mad at characters in the beginning, and then make you love them in the end... It makes your heart break for some of those...
Lavyrle Spencer does a fantastic job of telling this story of a love that was not only unlikely, but unwanted... It only goes to show that love strikes in the most unlikely places...but there is no denying it when it arrives.

The story was very noble to say the least. It was very touching how the town came together to rebuild a lost property, and have it led by the man who lost his fiancee. The villains in the book were written in with enough lines that I sometimes forget them, but they come up again to further clarify their significance in the story. The only thing that bothered me was it's subtle predictability. When men and women argue in these situations, it's almost likely going to be a romantic affair that follows.
