Product Description

You are buying a net ONLY. This is to replace the damaged/worn out netting of your existing trampoline. It does not come with any poles or fixings. This netting is designed to go round the outside rim of your trampoline therefore preserving the maximum jumping area. The netting has sleeves that slide over your enclosure poles. Make sure that your enclosure has 8 poles and that you have measured the width of your trampoline correctly before buying. The diameter of your trampoline is the distance across the top frame ring from outside metal edge to outside metal edge through the centre of the trampoline - it is not the size of the mat.

Easy net to fit, not the best quality but you do get what you pay for so quite acceptable, does its job, should last a couple of seasons.Have already recommended to a friend.

this item is great. It was easy to fit with help of my two children and i really like that the net encloses the bit round the edge.

Good value for money, especially seeing as nets can become damaged by kids using trampolines regularly.

From experience, it is important not to stretch the net too tightly between poles when fitting. To avoid this happening, it is best to slide the plastic sleeves on bit by bit and work round the trampoline pole by pole, gradually lowering the sleeve down each pole and checking the tension of the net as you do so. It does take time (perhaps 20 minutes to secure the entire net) but you are less likely to stretch or tear the net as might happen by putting on too much of each sleeve too quickly.

OMG - I can't help admiring my 'new' trampoline! What a transformation - and I don't just mean the kids. This new net has not only breathed new life into our trampoline, but new life into my 5 and 8-year old children. I fixed the net myself - which wasn't easy whilst trying fend off said kinder - but nonetheless I was able to fit it single-handedly, despite my mere 5ft 4ins in height. It slips over the poles and hooks under the outer side of the surround pad as opposed to being linked to the poles from the inside. According to the kids, this gives an impression of a much greater space inside. The added bonus is, of course, that the children can no longer try to chase each other around the outside of the net!
The original net lasted a good four or five years - despite in it's latter year being used in a similar vane to a hammock by the children - so I have yet to rate it's lasting power, but so far so good.

Although I cannot comment on the longevity of this product I give it five stars because it's cheap and it works.

This differs slightly from the Plum original in that it secures to the outside of the trampoline pad rather than the inside. Our previous Plum original had ripped within the first few days and this seems much better and also gives a more roomy feeling.

I found it easy to fit and have learnt my lesson as this is my fourth time replacing a net. If you follow the gasket tightening approach of fixing one pole about 12 inches on and then the opposite side and then the others at 90 degrees then slide each down by 12 inches or so working around the trampoline then it is easy.

I did find that one section was very tight so I very slightly moved the net supporting poles to ease the slack. I also did this where the opening is, just slighlty moving both poles in towards the zip so that it was not strained.

I don't expect this to last more than one year, I think the sun, frost and rain will destroy the net but at this price I will just buy another next year.

Our trampoline is still in good condition but the safety net had holes in it. This was the best price I could find on the internet by a long way. It arrived quickly and was really east to put on to the posts. Now the trampoline is safe again. Well worth every penny.

Arrived on time and easy to fit. Use the old polysytrene left on the old poles and squeeze it to the top. It had made a 5 year old trampolene look new.
