Product Description

If her soul is bound by an evil spell, Call back her spirit with a ringing bell. Salt in her left hand, gold in her right Will cast out the dark and restore her soul's light. The Halliwells are on vacation. It's time to party in New Orleans. But on Prue, Piper, and Phoebe's first night in the Big Easy, Phoebe has a dream filled with images of strange, violent rituals under a full moon. Soon after, a new friend of Prue's disappears -- on the night of the full moon! When the Charmed Ones try to find her, they are drawn into a dark world of voodoo sorcery...a powerful magic like nothing the sisters have ever seen.

The Charmed ones are on vacation in New Orleans. They have given themselves 3 rules;no work, no stress and particularly no magic. But when Pheobe has a vision of a huge snake-like thing killing a young girl and then one of there new found friends goes missing they sense danger afoot and their vacation gets more and more stressful by the minute;until Pheobe dissapears aswell. Are the Charmed Ones strong enough to beat the black voodoo magic of New Orleans? Or will the voodoo overpower the Charmed Ones? Read the book to find out...

As a huge fan of the TV show Charmed, I was so looking forward to reading this book, and I'm happy to say that I was not dissapointed. I got a real feeling of the magical voodoo atmosphere of New Orleans and I liked the ease of dialogue between Prue, Piper and Pheobe, which always made sense and provided balance between the demonic and the light hearted aspects of the book. It was like watching an episode of the show in your own head. Fantastic!

I thought that the book was okay but the writer of the story forgot one very important thing. The Power Of Three are the ones that saves the day not some macho man that pulls out the iron bars to let Prue, Piper and Phoebe escape. That is one thing the writer missed and it utterly spoiled the whole atmosphere when I read the book. It made me feel like the three sisters were ordinary people crying for help where in the shows they are always moving around, cracking their heads to solve their demon or warlock problem and they end up being people that saves the day. I feel very disapointed with this book and I bet this writer is not a huge fan of Charmed or elser he wouldn't have missed the main item of the story.
