Soon Amber's slap bang in the middle of voodoo curses, a trail of missing women, and a labyrinth of deceit. And, if that wasn't enough, to add more distraction to the case, her ex-fiancé-turned boss-turned fiancé again is pressing her to set the wedding date.

PRAISE FOR PREVIOUS AMBER FOX MYSTERIES:

"If you like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum I think you will really like Amber Fox - I know I do." Martha's Bookshelf

"Amber Fox is a modern, career-driven woman who seems to be a cross between Kinsey Milhone and Gracie Hart (Miss Congeniality). I enjoyed the great mixture of action adventure and slapstick. I found myself chuckling out loud and on one occasion snorting water out my nose." Coffee Time Romance & More

Amber Fox was hilarious with her tough as nails outer persona and her hysterical one-liners that were frequently laugh out loud funny.
I definately recommend picking this book up!!" The Caffeinated Diva reads...

"Amber Fox is the kind of strong lead female character with a great sarcastic wit that I love to read." To Read, Perchance to Dream

"Ms. Hodge has written a funny and suspenseful story much in the style of Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books. The plot is fast moving and the dialogue very witty." Coffee Time Romance & More

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Amber Fox book yet! 20 Feb 2012
By F Dyas
Format:Kindle Edition
I loved this! This is definitely the best Amber Fox book yet! The series is getting better and better. I wasn't too sure to begin with about the voodoo bit, thinking it would be silly, but it certainly wasn't! Amber is investigating the disappearance of Chantal, the daughter of a voodoo high priestess, and begins to think someone has put a curse on her.
Amber is also trying to decide whether she wants to commit to settling down with her sexy boss Brad, who has already left her heartbroken once (though not his fault)!
This is a great story, a little different from the norm which works really well. It is sexy, intriguing, and so funny my husband kept giving me strange looks as I burst out laughing in bed reading it! If you like Janet Evanovich and Gemma Halliday, you'll love this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amber's back! 29 Jan 2012
By Kew TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition
This is the third novel in the Amber Fox series and I think that this is the best one so far. I have enjoyed reading the others, The Fashion Police (Amber Fox Mystery No 1) and Be Careful What You Wish For (Amber Fox Mystery No 2) but feel that each book has improved as the series progressed until this one, which is her best yet. We have come to know and care about the central characters, I especially like the chemistry between Amber and Brad; and there is plenty of comedy provided by Tia and Amber's dad. I thought that this is her best in the series so far because the story is more gripping and focussed than the earlier stories with an exciting plot. It was hard to put this book down and I read it in one day!

5.0 out of 5 stars Voodoo Deadly 31 Jan 2012
By Joanne
Format:Kindle Edition
I loved this book! All the Amber Fox mysteries have been brilliant but this one is the best so far; I couldn't put it down. The character dynamics are fabulous, the mystery is brilliant, the story line is excellent, all wrapped up in one ball of humour. If you like the Janet Evanovich series you will love this as Amber Fox is an intelligent Stephanie Plum. I can't recommend this book highly enough.

I am so glad I stumbled across the Amber Fox Mysteries books. Having read them in order (this is the 3rd) this totally lived up to expectation. If you like books with a bit of intrigue but also some good conversations and witty writing then this series is the one for you - buy all 3 at once, I guarantee you won't stop after reading the first. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking mystery! 29 April 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Amber Fox is back...

Rich girl Chantel Langton has gone missing. Clues picked up by Amber lead to two clinics and something else she had anticipated stumbling across, Voodoo!

Sibel has a wonderful knack of turning the harshest crimes into comedy capers, while still getting her valuable message across to her readers.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great story 6 Feb 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I have said this before but I do like Sibel Hodge's books. Having said that I have never read one of her 'Amber Fox' books. Voodoo Deadly is my first but I don't think it will be my last. This really is a cracking story and one that moves along at a good pace. I had to keep picking the book up again whenever I had put it down, just to see what happens next.
It didn't spoil the book for me that I had not read any 'Amber Fox' before but there were references made to other books. They will only make me want to read the others to see what had gone on before.

5.0 out of 5 stars made me laugh out loud 29 Mar 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a very cooky/crazy type of book. Our heroine/detective/bounty hunter is also defective with two sexy men in her life an ex boyfriend who just happens to be a policeman and the ex SAS man she is scared to marry. In between a mad father a long suffering mother a ditsy helper and a voodoo computer hacker she manages to solve crimes and get her man/woman.
