I'd read Jayde's other books and was looking forward to Voodoo Kiss, and wasn't disappointed - it's well written, has lots of action, a sympathetic main character in Sophie and it was good to have continuity and development of all the other characters and story line. Keep on writing Jayde!

Thought overall it was a great book. With every page I turned couldn't wait until the next.I love the character thrain and I was beginning to wonder if he would make an appearance in this book, it was a welcome plot to the story.one thing I notice with these books though is no matter how strong the characters are I find sometimes they're a bit stupid though and far far too intelligent to not be suspicious of the bad guys as I also always see it coming! Soo... how come they can't? I think a thicker plot with more twists in it so you have to wonder until the end who the baddie is would go down a lot better. The stories are imaginative though an the character build up an personalities are fabulous. Just wish it wasn't so obvious. But I guess the message is no matter how strong a Person is. Everyone's a fool in love!after all they do say love is blind!

This book was as good as the first, the plot had bones and the characters had depth. Far better than the disaster of book 2. However, the author still struggles to get to grips with the English language and it still needs that certain something to draw the reader completely in. Still the most frustrating annoyance is the constant errors that hinder the readers experience. Duplicated paragraphs, missing words, typing errors, consistency issues. It just takes away the magic that a good book has to offer. Please Jayde Scott, get yourself a decent editor who could guide you and turn you into the great writer I feel you could be.

I'm reading the ancient legends in order and overall really enjoying them but the formula is the same for each book so far. Girl meets mate, supernatural drama ensues. I love the world that has been created and being a wee bit biased toward Scotland myself I really like the highland setting that keeps recurring through the books. Great if you want to get lost in different world for a while but beware the editing! Not sure if this is a kindle or editing issue but a few sentences and paragraphs tend to be repeated which can be annoying. Otherwise happy reading!

i absolutely love all the work that scott produces and this was no exception.l didnt stop reading until i finished. wow the complications and feelings and elations are captured effortlessly and you feel in tune with the character all the way. i adored the way the story was set out and follows on from the series..i cannot praise scott unique and gifted prose and way of sucking you in. it was absolutley rocking. constantly checking for the latest creation of this authors and long may it continue.

A brilliant read. A great mix of magic and supernatural, if you like witches, vampires + demons you'll love this book.

I like the book but it's a little repetitive from the last (spoiler) another bonded mortal and immortal,
Hope the next one is better.
There's a few places where you wonder why it's written twice, and it hasn't been proof read very well.
The story line isn't half bad, but if your anything like me your only reading it because the first book got you hooked and the second was almost as good. I'll read on the the next though.

I love all Jayde Scott's books so I had to buy this one, the third in the series.

Really original book. I thought Sofia was extremely likeable and Thrain was hot! It's a must for all readers with a fantastic twist to the end. I loved it! An awesome 5 star read.

Rascals Sing at The Opera House. (Adventures of Rascals, Polly and Gertie)
Velvet Ball and The Broken Fairy (Velvet and Roseberry)

loved this book so much better than the 2nd book that was very slow but set you in for the 3rd book.
Could not put it down and moved at a fast rate from the start cant wait to read the 4th book.
Will point out on the kindle book there is alot of typo error and doubled up paragraphs that had been re writen and not taken out on the finnel book.Came fun to find them in the end as it happens more than once :-)

Read the first book"The Job From He'll " and really enjoyed it .Decided to order the next one"Voodoo Kiss" fairly sure I was going to be disappointed ! Boy was I wrong. This one was just as good as the first. It followed smoothly and I couldn't put it down Can't wait to start the next one . Jayde Scott is a writer worth looking for if you want a good book which holds you spellbound to the lasts word ! The Graduate
