Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ 320GB HD Digital TV Twin Tuner HD Recorder - Installation RecommendedI bought this to get BBC iplayer through my HUMAX FOXSAT HDR-PVR via the wireless internet.
I had to download the set-up from the internet, but it is quite easy to set up; put in your SSID and password, then your up & running
It works well with my netbook (a useful check), so functionally it is OK and can be recommended as a low cost wifi dongle.
Nb I can't get the old HUMAX to work in wireless mode with this device, which I is the fault of the Humax PVR. I have to use used hardwired home plugs for this feature.
Update Jan'12; This VOINETS wifi dongle is now in use on the back of my Sony bravia internet TV and provides the wifi internet connection for BBC iplayer.
Set up works on my WIN7 netbook but not my WIN 7 pc (both have the same zonealarm firewalls?) so it can be hit and miss. Also note that the USB power cable is not very robust and can lose the power

I bought this to access Sky Anytime + wirelessly now that Sky have opened this facility up to any broadband suppliers. Sky's own is £60 and so at £19.99 this is a real bargain and more than that it is very easy to set up. Just plug into your laptop or PC network connection, plug into USB point to power up and then run software located on CD. It took about 5 minutes to set up and once done you just plug into the back of your sky+ box and as long as you have a powered USB handy, either off TV or BluRay/DVD player and you are away. Sky+ box auto locates the network and then you have access through the anytime button. one happy customer :)

This great little dongle allows almost any device with an ethernet socket to become a WiFi device. It is especially useful if you don't have the possibility of connecting to a wired router or have run out of router ports.
First you plug it into a PC and set up the network name (or IP address) of your WiFi router. Then add the WiFi log-in password. After that you just plug it into the external device. It does require that you connect it to a 5 to 15 V dc power supply (a lead to use a USB supply is included) but for devices which already use an external power supply meeting those requirements, a daisy chain lead is included.

doesnt work with sony blu ray player
got this as its recommended for sony blu ray player and it doesnt work nor does the disc that comes with it also be warned the seller uses yodel.

Can only be configured on Windows
