The second collection of various Shjips' singles and other tracks is as strong as any of their other releases so far.
Their blend of Hawkwind-Loop-Kraftwerk-60s garage-etc is wonderfully self-indulgent and no less spellbinding for it, as each track sets up a captivating rhythm and just cruises along for as long as they feel like it, the bass and drums giving a rock-solid backing to the Krautrock keyboard and psychedelic guitar improvisations.
We also get a chance to have a piece of their excellent live sound, with the track 'Death's not your Friend'.
Other that that there's little point in identifying individual numbers, it's just slice after hefty slice of pure brilliant head music.
