Sounds like a Cassette tape transferred to CD 11 Mar 2011
By Anthony C. Slikas - Published on Amazon.com
Historically I suppose we should be thankful for any Phil Ochs products appearing 35 years after the fact...the sound is narrow probably the acoustic guitar sounds better, I give it 3 stars just because it's a Phil Ochs product the sound is thin like a cassette tape sound at times during the concert is fuller but then it'll go back to a narrower sound, perhaps bits and pieces of other sources...there are 2 or 3 songs on this CD that aren't on any other release...not sure about the performance if it's strong or weak, it was in 1974 just two years before his final demise, Phil Ochs not a big name outside of New York here i persume he's performing in New York's broadside office or a concert for them somewhere in the village...if your a Phil Ochs fan might as well get this along with the interview CD put out by smithsonian...i'm sure it'll be the last release on Ochs forever...last year they found some demos this year a so-so concert and an interview...but this will be it as Phil Ochs once said, "No more songs".
