C. Simes says:
I have never read any Peter F Hamilton books and was wondering if the Void Trilogy would be a good place to start? Do I need to have read any of his other books to understand/enjoy the the Void Trilogy?
Thanks.

Begin with the Commonwealth Saga ( Pandora's Star), as the other series derive from it to some extent, and there are just two books. These are large novels with many hundreds of pages, and really should be read in the correct order if you're going to get the best from them. Space opera from a master!
