Mary Green writes poems, stories and plays for children and educational books. Her writing is diverse, covering a wide age range. Her books include The Living Planet (Cambridge University Press) a collection of writing on the environment; a study guide on Carol Ann Duffy's The World's Wife (York Notes Advanced); stories and plays in the series On the Edge (OUP) written in collaboration with Mike Gould and Trevor Millum for secondary school students, and a picture book, Tiger Tom (Orchard Books.Her poems have appeared in numerous anthologies, such as Green Glass Beads compiled by Jacqueline Wilson, Wild! chosen by James Carter and Graham Denton, Read Me At School chosen by Gaby Morgan, Blood and Roses British History in Poetry, compiled by Brian Moses and I remember, I remember a celebration of childhood in verse, edited by Brian Moses.
