Product Description

Product Description

This is a comprehensive and thought-provoking exploration of some of the metaphysical notions that are the foundation of modern druidic thought and practice. It is a serious and informed contribution to an often-neglected area of the modern Druid Way in which past practice is all too often rekindled without an attendant understanding of past psychology or philosophical perceptions. In this, it is a manifesto for a Druid Way that is both true to its Celtic roots and responsive to the modern world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 1 Nov 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: The Voice within the Wind - of Becoming and the Druid Way (Paperback)
Oh, how refreshing. A druid book that doesn't drown us in pink candy-floss fluffy bunny stuff. I didn't find it repetitive (although it is clear that it is a combination of articles written at different times). What is more I bought it a lot more cheaply from the publisher and got it within a few days. Come on amazon, get your act together. You should be making stuff like this more easily available.

4.0 out of 5 stars The druid way, 6 May 2004

This was a very informative read and much different than many of the Druidry books out there, I did find the comic sans print a bit strange for a book almost as though I was reading a free pamphlet! But, that aside this is a really good book for druids new and experienced.

5.0 out of 5 stars Philosophy at its best, 1 Aug 2004
By
This review is from: The Voice within the Wind - of Becoming and the Druid Way (Paperback)
One reviewer clearly can't tell the difference between philosophical enquiry and fiction (unless he read some other book, of course). This work breaks new ground in an attempt to understand how our ancestors viewed the world and how that is of relevance to us today. This is important stuff and is far superior to a lot of the books that purport to be about Druids ancient or modern.
